Property Manager

After college, Vivian was a professional in the banking industry for 9 years. With her background, a career change into property management made for a successful transition. Vivian credits her study of psychology and nursing with her deep empathy for challenged resident populations.

Vivian Jackson is a seasoned property manager with more than 23 years of successful management in all types of multifamily properties. Vivian also has HCCP training and various other industry seminars and certifications. Vivian started with S&E by moving from Richmond Virginia in 2015 to take the helm at a troubled Great Mills Maryland apartment community. She quickly got things “under control” and was ready to move on to a more challenging multifaceted property, M on Madison Apartments, a pre-imminent mixed income community located in downtown Baltimore Maryland. M on Madison is a unique combination of LIHTC with HOME and NEDS units. Vivian continuously puts forth an exceptional effort in a challenging environment. Vivian’s background in banking has proven beneficial to the attention to detail needed in property management. Vivian started in Property Management at a low-income Section 8 property in 1997, and continued to a tax credit property, where she quickly learned the varied requirements of Compliance. From 25 highly qualified candidates, The Apartment Management Association in Virginia recognized Vivian with “The 2003 Leasing Consultant of the Year Award”! Vivian has extensive lease up experience and experience with properties going through renovations, rehabilitation and repositioning. Her experience in transfers, consolidating and moving residents to renovated apartments, has proven invaluable in the multifamily industry. Vivian has received several other awards, and certificates in property management. She currently employs her knowledge of section 8, project-based vouchers, and tax credit in her daily responsibilities. The property management industry is one that is exciting, and one where Vivian is always excelling. With her contagious smile, empathetic nature and strong sense of self, Vivian has had repeated successes and continues to strive to learn and grow.
